I've been a huge fan of pixel since my favorite phone, the OG pixel. I am currently using the pixel 3xl and I do enjoy it, however I am considering switching over to the iPhone, not sure whether the iPhone 8 or X or whatever is comparable price wise to the 3xl.
I am mainly considering the switch for a few reasons:

Change of pace, been an Android user since my first phone in high school (Galaxy user then recently Pixel)

The camera is just better for the kind of photos/videos I take (mainly photos of people/faces and videos)

Everyone else has one and I hate being the one person in a group of iPhone users who then forces everyone to use messenger or Whatsapp or other groupchats just because I don't have a iPhone
My question is, have any of y'all transitioned from the Pixel to the iPhone and if so, what are your thoughts? Worth the switch? Did you get bored? Do you regret your decision?
My main hesitation is no Google photos perks, lack of a USB-C port, and battery life
