Has anyone noticed Face ID seems to be significantly faster on the iPhone 12 Pro? I traded in my iPhone 11 Pro already so I can't do a back-to-back comparison, but it feels much less laggy swiping up on the lock screen, and in-app Face ID requests are fulfilled almost instantly.
Apple usually makes a big deal of stuff like this in their keynote, and I don't remember them saying anything about the speed (though they did mention a wider field of recognition, which I've noticed as well). Maybe they didn't want to draw attention to a feature that's largely useless in 2020...
