Chase's new quarterly bonus just went live.
What you need to know
- Chase has launched its Q3 cash back offer.
- Cardholders can earn 5% cash back at Amazon and Whole Foods.
- The offer applies to the Chase Freedom and Chase Freedom Unlimited.
Every three months, Chase rolls out a new bonus category for its Chase Freedom and Chase Freedom Unlimited credit cards. July 1 is here, so with it is a brand new quarterly offer.
Between July 1, 2020, and September 30, 2020, cardholders of the Chase Freedom and Chase Freedom Unlimted card can earn five percent cash back on purchases at Amazon and Whole Foods Market.

Chase Freedom®
Earn a $200 bonus after you spend $500 on purchases in your first 3 months. Earn 1% cash back on all purchases and 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in combined purchases in bonus categories each quarter. 0% Intro APR for 15 months from account opening on purchases and balance transfers (variable APR of 114.99-23.74% after that).
You do need to activate the offer in order to receive the elevated rewards, so make sure you remember to log on to your Chase account and activate the bonus offer.
Please also note that you may not receive 5% cash back on purchases at Amazon Now or Amazon Fresh, as those orders are fulfilled through Instacart.
Unlimited categories
Chase Freedom Unlimited®
Earn a $150 Bonus after you spend $500 on purchases in your first 3 months from account opening. Earn unlimited 1.5% cash back on all purchases. 0% Intro APR for 15 months from account opening on purchases, then a variable APR of 14.99 - 23.74%. No annual fee. No minimum to redeem for cash back. Cash Back rewards do not expire as long as your account is open.
